ABOUT

On May 8th, Ohioans will have an opportunity to vote on Issue 1, a proposed constitutional amendment to end gerrymandering in congressional districts. But right now many voters still don't know there's a primary coming up or anything about what they'll be voting on.

Join Represent.Us members in Columbus for this phone bank to help spread the word about the upcoming election and Issue 1.

  • When: Thursday, April 12th from 5:00-8:00pm ET
  • Where: Upper Arlington Public Library (2800 Tremont Rd., Upper Arlington, OH 43221)
  • What: Phone banking to educate voters in the Cincinnati area about partisan gerrymandering and Issue 1.

Issue 1:

  • Helps voters choose their politicians, instead of politicians choosing their voters by drawing their own districts
  • Is the product of a rare bipartisan agreement in the Ohio General Assembly
  • Creates an open and transparent public process for redistricting

Together, we can fix broken elections in Ohio.
