The coronavirus pandemic is upending American life, and jeopardizing the 2020 primary and general elections. We can protect Americans and ensure our elections move forward as planned by ensuring voters in every state have vote by mail options.
The state of Louisiana does not allow voters to request absentee ballots, unless they have an excuse, and right now, the coronavirus does not qualify as an excuse. Over the last couple weeks we directed calls to the Louisiana Governor and Secretary of State - now it’s time to put pressure on the legislature to get this done.
Join our national phonebank to call voters in Louisiana and connect them with their state senator to demand vote by mail options during the coronavirus crisis. Here's what you need to know:
When: Anytime between 10am and 10pm ET on April 23rd
Where: Right from your computer!
Why: Keep voters safe through the coronavirus pandemic
Never phonebanked before? Don’t worry - we'll train you on the script and dialer and make sure you have everything you need to start making calls.
