Coronavirus is upending American life, and could jeopardize the 2020 primary and general elections - but there’s a way to protect voters while still ensuring our elections move forward as planned.
Fifteen states currently allow voters to request absentee ballots, but only if they have an excuse...and right now, the coronavirus does not qualify as an excuse. Secretaries of State have the power to change that, but only if they hear from the people.
Join us in calling voters in those fifteen states! We'll connect them with their Secretaries of State so they can urge them to implement no-excuse absentee voting for the 2020 elections. Here's what you need to know:
When: Wed. March 25th anytime between 9am and 9pm ET
Where: Right from your computer!
Why: Secure our elections through the coronavirus pandemic
Never phonebanked before? Don’t worry - we'll train you on the script and dialer and make sure you have everything you need to start making calls.
