We have a chance to pass the For the People Act, let’s help it win!

Our elections are broken, Congress is stymied by partisan gridlock, and attacks on the foundation of democracy have been chipping away at the public’s trust in our most sacred institutions. If there has ever been a time for sweeping anti-corruption reform, it’s right now.

The Senate has announced that its first piece of legislation will be the For the People Act - the most comprehensive anti-corruption reform since Watergate. As part of our national campaign to Put Democracy First, we need to make sure everyone on social media knows about this groundbreaking opportunity to improve our government.

Join the MemeTeam, RepresentUs’ social media army, to create national momentum behind the bill by promoting it all across the internet.

We’re holding a MemeTeam training call on Monday, February 1st at 7pm ET, where we’ll continuing our Put Democracy First social media campaign and show you how you can join the team and help spread the word to fight political corruption. Here’s what you need to know:

When: Join us on Zoom at 7pm ET / 4pm PT on Monday, February 1st.

Where: Right from your computer!

Why: To help spread the word about fighting political corruption on social media.

This isn’t about Democrats vs. Republicans. This is about representative democracy vs. authoritarianism. We need a political system that represents the will of the people, not special interests and billionaires.
