National Phonebank to Build Momentum for 2020

Nov 12 Nov 12, 2019 - Nov 22, 2019 9:00am EST - 11:00pm EST Add to calendar 2019-11-12 09:00:00 2019-11-22 23:00:00 America/New_York National Phonebank to Build Momentum for 2020 <h3><strong>Ranked Choice Voting won in NYC on November 5th, 2019 in a landslide victory - let’s capitalize on this momentous win and build our outreach teams for more victories in 2020!</strong></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Over the course of two weeks 100 volunteers were able to send out over half a million texts, pushing folks to get to the polls to help fix our broken elections. It worked! RCV passed with more than 73% support! Our win in NYC shows how powerful our outreach teams can be when we come together in big numbers. We have an opportunity now to take this momentum and build a ton of energy for the anti-corruption movement. 2020 campaigns are forming and they need our support to win.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Join RepresentUs organizers and volunteers for a virtual phonebank to recruit volunteers to pass Ranked Choice Voting and other anti-corruption measures in the coming year. This virtual phonebank will be open every day </span><strong>starting November 12th, and will run through Friday, November 22nd</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">. The virtual phonebank will open each day at 9am ET for East Coast calls / 9am PT for West Coast calls, and will be open until 9pm ET and 9pm PT respectively. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Never phonebanked before?
