Digital Ambassador Program
This year, we've seen the power of grassroots action first-hand – both on the ground and online. The dual tactics of educating the public online, and speaking with community members in person led to the successful passage of Anti-corruption laws in Maine, Seattle, and San Francisco, as well as the passage of Resolutions in eight additional communities.
Together, we are changing the political landscape of America and making it possible to pass Anti-Corruption Acts in more cities and states in 2016.
So what will I do?
Digital ambassadors are an incredibly powerful element of the anti-corruption movement because we educate Americans about the corrupting influence of money in politics and the strategy that will fix it.
Here are just some of the things that you can do:
- Share graphics, articles, and videos on facebook, twitter, tumblr, instagram, etc
- Recruit new members to our movement.
- Post content to Reddit.
- Comment on Reddit on posts relating to our issue.
- Comment on articles, blogs, youtube, etc.
- Monitor online media for opportunities for action and share them with other ambassadors.
- Write Op-eds for your local paper.
- Create your own content that can be shared online.
- and much more.
We'll email you once a week with a specific action, but you can do as much as you like, as often as you like.
This program is currently in Beta, so please give us feedback and share your ideas!
